Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
I’ve always loved using dried mushrooms in recipes for the added mushroom flavour, but it wasn’t until we became plant-based that we really started using them to their full potential.
They’ve become my go-to for adding a depth of flavour to any dish. The mushrooms themselves (once re-hydrated for 15 minutes or so) are delicious added into risottos, soups, fried rice etc. but adding the soaking liquid is also a great way to add more flavour!
