Teriyaki Tofu
Teriyaki Tofu
Matt likes to order Teriyaki tofu when we get the kids sushi, I think we make a good rendition of it.
Ingredients
- 2 packets Tofu Pressed, tossed in cornstarch
- 2 Cups Rice
- Sesame Seeds
- 1 Cup Water
- 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 Inch Ginger Micro-planned
- 2 Garlic cloves Micro-planned
- 1 Tbsp Cornstarch Mixed with 1/4 Cup Water
- Veggies Sautéed
- Cashews
Notes
Press tofu, toss in cornstarch and airfry until crunchy. Approximately 15 minutes at 355 degrees.
Make the Teriyaki sauce in a small sauce pan by mixing all the ingredients, bring to a boil then let simmer until thickened. Stir frequently.
Mix tofu into sauce and serve on rice with veggies/cashews.
