Teriyaki Tofu

Teriyaki Tofu

Matt likes to order Teriyaki tofu when we get the kids sushi, I think we make a good rendition of it.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 packets Tofu Pressed, tossed in cornstarch
  • 2 Cups Rice
  • Sesame Seeds
  • 1 Cup Water
  • 1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
  • 3 Tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 1 Inch Ginger Micro-planned
  • 2 Garlic cloves Micro-planned
  • 1 Tbsp Cornstarch Mixed with 1/4 Cup Water
  • Veggies Sautéed
  • Cashews

Notes

Press tofu, toss in cornstarch and airfry until crunchy. Approximately 15 minutes at 355 degrees.
Make the Teriyaki sauce in a small sauce pan by mixing all the ingredients, bring to a boil then let simmer until thickened. Stir frequently.
Mix tofu into sauce and serve on rice with veggies/cashews.
