Ginger and Turmeric Shots
I LOVE these ginger and Turmeric shots. They were inspired from Plantyou. Here is her recipe.
Ginger and Turmeric Shots
Ingredients
- 5 Inches Fresh Ginger peeled
- 2 Inches Fresh Turmeric or two tsp dry
- 2 Cups Water
- ¾ Cup Lemon Juice
- ½ tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Blend until smooth and push through a fine sieve.
- I freeze the pulp in an ice cube tray (then keep in a ziplock) and add every morning into my smoothie or where ginger is called for in a recipe.
- I can't always find turmeric, so I always buy a ton when I find it- then freeze it!
- If you include oranges, you can throw them in whole with skin.
